Description

DCOIT-30 Microbicide offers broad spectrum control of bacteria, fungi and algae. The active ingredient is 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-3(2H)-isothiazolone.

Applications/Directions for Use

Architectural Paints and Coatings

For use in solvent-based paints, semi-transparent stains and solid stains, use 0.08% to 0.37% of DCOIT-30 Microbicide.A coupling solvent such as 2-butoxyethanol may be used to assist in mixing DCOIT-30.

Building Materials

For use in building materials such as elastomeric roof and wall coatings, mastics, caulks, sealants, joint cements, spackling, stucco, grouting, insulation and exterior finish systems, use 0.08% to 0.37% DCOIT-30.

Adhesives and Tackifiers

For use in water soluble and water dispersed adhesives such as animal glues, vegetable glues, natural rubber latices, polyvinyl acetate, styrene-butadiene, polyurethane, epoxy, acrylic latices and tackifiers derived from rosin and hydrocarbon resins, use 0.08% to 0.37% of DCOIT-30.
